@svgbaritone You know, I am starting to see how much people with Lyme are being ignored. I contracted Lyme when I was ten, but since I had the "typical" bulls-eye rash where the tick was, the doctors treated me quickly and I fully recovered.
I am deeply sorry that you are now suffering due to the physician's neglect. Are you certain that there is there nothing else that can be done? Have you seen a neurologist?

@silentobservor It is Lyme Disease, I was diagnosed in 2005 after being ill for years. Initially I was given one round of abx and dismissed. Saw a psychiatrist, who felt I was "not crazy" but ill I did find a doctor who attributes damage to Lyme and things are getting better. Because I was dismissed initially though, I now have degenerative arthritis, Neuro Problems and ADHD to name a few. All it took was being heard finally. Though, I have to live with the damage.

@svgbaritone Do you mean you have been going through a serious or mysterious illness? If that's the case, you definitely should break your silence . You should, perhaps, talk to a doctor.
If you mean something else, I would definitely suggest a counselor. I'm sorry you're dealing with this :(
