The already exhausted Fargo and Moorhead communities continue to face the Red River head on and raise the surrounding dikes one more additional foot. As the dikes go higher, the temperature drops - wind chills into the negatives. But to family and friends outside of Fargo: We will persevere, we will survive and we will go on. We do what is heroic, simply because it is needed.

  • i say stand and fight its a great community and oits a great i mean why waste alll the time to stop the flood from getting to the houses if in the end you are going to leave then why not leave in the first place instead of tryig to block the flood from getting to the houses

  • I am so grateful for these videos of my heroic family and neighbors in the Valley.

  • From the standpoint of a vollenteer firemen with dilworth i just want to thankyou for your work you have captured what it means to live in fargo

  • Having been through a devastating flood in 1997 in Grand Forks, my heart goes out to the good people of Fargo. This is not just a community united, this is a state united. There are many more people in our good state fighting the good fight. People who have not ever been to this part of the country do not understand the grit and determination of people in this region. Keep the faith.
