Temple Grandin, diagnosed with autism as a child, talks about how her mind works -- sharing her ability to "think in pictures," which helps her solve problems that neurotypical brains might miss. She makes the case that the world needs people on the autism spectrum: visual thinkers, pattern thinkers, verbal thinkers, and all kinds of smart geeky kids.
Talk by Temple Grandin.

Glorifying? I think she was trying to communicate that there are people that are different, and we just lop people into the same group.
You're missing the point completely.

her talk is to explain how an autistic mind works. it has nothing to do with glorifying. all she is doing is trying to explain that an autistic mind is NOT a defective one, neither is it necessarily a sick one, in the sense that it needs to be treated, but, in fact, it has a lot to offer.

Maybe my mind is too mundanely normal, but I found this talk a little chaotic and difficult to follow. Although I do agree with the general message.
