  • Assalamu Alaikum brother fazal, It should be made clear here that Ahmadi Muslims believe that death penalty or any worldly punishment for blasphemy or apostacy is against Quran and hadith and not a crime as big as intentional murder of an innocent person. If the crime is proven 100% and the system is just then punishment of such a crime is death or compensation (if the family of victim allow as long as it brings reformation into the society).

  • Wa-Alaikum Salam Wa-rahmatullah Wa-Barkatahu

It is very clear from the video that Mr.Amjad is talking about the draconian blasphemy Law imposed by Govt of Pakistan under Mulla's pressure which is against Islam and Holy Quran.

  • It was super to see Amjad Hussain taking part in our Jalsa Salana 2008. Am so happy that you posted this video. Not many people have the courage and heart of Tahir Mirza Hussain, Amjad's brother. 18 years on death row is just horrible. This just isn't the day and age to do that kind of thing. God bless them both.
