Four West African presidents, Boni Yayi, President of Benin, Alpha Conde, President of Guinea, Mahamadou Issoufou, President of Niger, and Alassane Ouattara, President of Cote d'Ivoire, came together for a discussion on the progress of democracy in Francophone Africa on July 28, 2011 at the United States Institute of Peace.
