America

This is a song that I wrote and it is intended to rally the American people in a positive direction, a direction free of war, free of hatred, and for the common good of its citizens. Politics can often deter from the truth, and the truth is that the United States of America is still a great country, a country rich in history and a country that can succeed peacefully in the near future. Geographical boundaries should not govern the ethics of morality. We are all one species, and every culture has something unique to offer. It should be our goal as human beings to cherish the gift of life, to exercise our right to vote and to unite the world. My music is inspired by many of the great pioneers of political songwriting including Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Stephen Stills. It is my goal not to resurrect the past, but to write songs with meaning and to inspire a generation that needs to take a stand against what is happening to our planet today.

But seriously, what progress do people think they're gonna make just by saying "fuck America". Thats not intelligent thinking. Its not progressive. Isolate what it is about America that is wrong (clue: its not the average people on the street), and then make a rational, factual argument and then we can really talk. Cool song, BTW.

What the hell was america? There has been nothing America has done that was righteous. America has always tried to justify their ways with their corrupt leaders who make marriage for homosexuals illegal, kill people for killing, go to war and claim to be a nation under god, under the bible which in it states that Jesus would always turn the other cheek. America is on big hypocracy. Fuck america, it's nothing, and will never be anything.
