  • @marigoldsugarplum Lupus is caused by an overactive immune system. Your immune system think your healthy tissue is foreign. So it attacks healthy tissue in your body. It can attack any organ or part of your body. Mine attacked my blood, kidneys and joints. Later on it could attack somewhere else. So in order to get it to stop attacking that part of the body they need to suppress it.

  • I'm a diabetic (type 1) and have had it for 37 years. I was just diagnosed with SLE but as yet haven't had any symptoms. Not sure what this means, will there be some sort of flare up at some point?

  • To suppress the immune system means to make it not work good. I'd be vulnerable. What's the root of lupus. That needs to get cleared up then it will be better. I already have asthma, arthritas for years, epilepsy, hypthyroidism,

osteoporosis, gum disease that's in my family & me, septo optic dysplasia, depression, anxiety, and.. I better stop now. Hee I'm running out of room fast. I'm 36 and I'm tired of getting new stuff every year. I was born with septo optic dysplasia it effects alot!

  • I would rate this video 10 stars possible.
