On January 20, 2009 approximately 7,000 community members came to view Barack Obamas inauguration and acceptance speech at the Oakland-Alameda County ORACLE Arena. In an effort to support our nation moving forward Supervisor Keith Carson worked with leaders from government, business, labor, community-based organizations, and people from the faith-based communities to help plan for this celebration.
