Hi! Just wanted to give you guys an update on what's going on in my tanks. Puff (my male oranda) has been acting funky the last week or so, so he is in a quarantine tank. I'm kind of bummed and hope he gets better soon. The QT tank is salted to .1% for right now to treat the fluid he has around his eyes (pop eye). I am not sure that my cycle in the QT tank is stable yet and salt can make ammonia even more toxic than it is normally, so I won't be raising the salt level until I know that my cycle is stable in that tank. I am doing daily 80% water changes on the QT tank since my cycle is unstable and the water volume is so low, and I am testing my water 2x daily to make sure parameters are good : ) There is an AC 70 running on the QT tank.
I also removed the gravel from my tank. I got worried that there may have been something in the gravel causing some of these issues. : ) I was nervous to add gravel to begin with so I am actually pretty happy to be back to a bare bottom tank. I think it is generally a healthier environment for goldies who produce a lot of waste.
I am currently being advised regarding treatment etc. by members on kokos goldfish forum (there is a group of highly experienced members there that I trust to help me out... I have little experience with sick fish so I like to rely on others with more experience for that type of thing!)
Thanks for watching! : )
I think he might have parasites, go ask the petstore for supplies, it looks like he's trying to skratch himself alot, and if the scales stands out its dropsy. May as well be Swim Bladder issues. Good luck. c:

@rezimmerer Glad the videos help! : ) Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about them. I estimate that my fish are about 2 yrs old : ) given how big they are and how long I have had them. They still have growing to do! : )
