Nice video, I feel more confident that I know what my worms need, now. A drainage tray and those vents should really help my situation. A friend gave me a pile of worms for my bin and I was afraid they would suffocate and/or drown, so I've been leaving the lid slightly ajar. Getting into it today, I see that it's soggy and some tiny, white, legged critters have moved in. I'll just get the drainage and vents in there and hopefully they'll move out and my worms will proliferate.

I started a bin with worms from my garden. Later I purchased red wigglers for another bin. Both bins are doing well and I have used castings on plants already. I love to watch the youtube videos to get new ideas.

You did a good job of explaining the worm bin and how it functions. It is nice to get kids involved in the process.
