I am a 7th generation Latter-day Saint (Mormon) and I will gladly agree with you that this is a beautiful and poweful song. Christ IS good and I find it wonderful that we can agree on that.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (November 7, All Saints' Sunday), I filled in at a local Lutheran Church. I played this as the opening hymn. But it was Saints instead of Men. It is #669 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. May God bless all those who have gone before us.
