people experience questions of faith all the time, if you have never questioned what you believe, then you have never tested to see if you may be wrong.

But that isn't what we say; try actually listening to the video :) When you have doubts about something so fundamental as the doctrines of the faith, one is not equipped to be a leader in that faith. When those doubts persist and get to such a stage you no longer believe, you really should leave.

I did, the problem is, if you leave instead of asking the hard questions, people never look to see if perhaps something should be changed. If you remain with a belief or ideology simply out of tradition, instead of having been proven to be true beyond all doubt, you come up with Myths and legends but no real truth.

But the video doesn't any ANYTHING of that - you are just making it up and assuming and accusing. No-one is saying "don't test" but rather, once you have decided you don't believe the fundamental tenets of the faith, you shouldn't be leader. And that, if those responsible for leading the faith don't believe, is the destruction of the faith so surprising?

Your comments just aren't relevant to the actual content of the video; we don't say what you say we do.

As for changing, Chesterton is apropos (even if he doesn't seem immediately applicable); Christianity has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found hard and left untried. Catholicism, when lived completely, provides civilization. Now it's been rejected, society is colapsing into broken families, divorce, pornography, low birthrates etc. It's not just a loss of the faith - it's a loss of civilization. We asked hard questions & got the answer Catholicism IS the answer.

Let's be honest something has gone wrong in the Catholic Church. The word I hear from people is 'catholics are hypocrites.' People point to pedophile priests; people getting annulments when everyone knows they told lies to get them; catholics not following the teachings of the church but still saying they are good catholics. There is an element of truth here, but when the media is so anti the catholic church and the Church doesn't seem to speak with one voice, people tend to vote with their feet

@RealCatholicTV Mr. Voris does great work, but as an Irish Catholic I can say with absolute certainty that there is no such thing as the "Archbishop of Ireland". Ireland has four archbishops, not counting the nuncio.

We have had a ordination in Ireland this year: in Toames, Macroom, Co Cork a young priest was ordained being the first in this diocese in over 70 years! There is a good level of the faith here in Ireland. Wait and see when the Corpus Christi procession on 26 June and you will see all people, young and old coming to the streets.

Amen Michael, We desperately need to pray to our Lady for our Bishops and our priests. Pray for them every day. Satans war on the church is srtong and we need to pray that the church may be stronger. God bless Bishop Peter Jugis!

Love the follow up dialog; it's very informative. Also, thanks for sharing precisely how and what we should pray, in the video. These things are very helpful. +

I live in Charlotte, NC and go to St. Matthew's. Bishop Jugis is my bishop. I was about to write to him with my concerns from your last report but now I can change the letter to one of thanksgiving. Thank You Michael for keeping me informed. I am encouraged because of what you are doing and it is good to know that Bishop Peter Jugis is one of the good guys, looking out for his flock. He took immediate action. God Bless him.

The counter-revolution needs to start in Ireland NOW, or the Church will lose this daughter of the faith. I'm admittedly a counter-revolutionary and Monarchist culturally and politically but I also wish dearly for a counter-revolution in the Church to save the souls of my Home Country. Without which any of my political and cultural hopes and changes in my country will be empty and void without the foundation of the Church to sanctify the culture.
