@cstoner15 Another reason they are taking it is because its large, and can help block the road, which shields the EMS, Police, and Fire crews from dumbass rubberneckers who dont pay attention. A local dept near me was on a major high way, then there ladder truck was there, thankfully it was or they would have lost 5 Firefighters/medics and a patient due to a stupid rubbernecker.

Talking about a tight squeeze, the space between the ladder and the top of the door don't look more than 2-3" apart

Interessant das die Wachen immer fast so gebaut sind das die Firetrucks mit ihren Stoßstangen (fast) vorne auf dem Boden aufsetzen, wenn sie ausrücken :O
