@1soildier there was imulsion already down in the hollow... some of the Locust were exposed to it so they turned Lambent.

well it was the imulsion that created the lambet that the humans drilled up so the humans created the lambet not even knowing it cause they used it as a power source so it if kind of for land and for revenge that is why the locust attacked

@bluerat09 I've played the game, and thats not why the Locust attacked the humans. The Locust were losing the war with the Lambent, the Queen thought about asking the humans for help, but since the humans fought a war for 79-80 years, she thought that humans were destined to destroy. And, ive read the books about Gears of War also, thats where I got most of the info.
