new motor mounts???

@Arrelevant69er Wrong! H series has the best and closest Hp to torque ratio! K has 220 hp with 150 torquw. H has 210 with 161 torque. 100% factory. You can have all of the hp in the world but it won't do you any good without torque. K series motor swaps are too overated and too expensive. H series is cheaper, has a better HP-TQ ratio, and has more potential as a swap build anyways. In my opinion that is.

@8AV8OR2 Did you run 11.7 with stock axel? What kinda 60" times?

@qpzmak Oh, my bad man. I thought you meant something else. But you are right. The F22 does have the closest HP-TQ, but I said the best and closest(meaning the highest yet closest) HP-TQ ratio was the H22. But yes, the all out closest is the F22.

As I stated before, there was no front mount at the time of the dyno tuning. To run a 3" downpipe the crossmember had to be modified so the facilitation for the front mount was not there anymore. I built a new mounting point and used an adjustable sleeve to add tension. Worked very well. Car ran 11.70s that year, going much bigger now.

i cut the center section out of the crossmember and plated the ends, then replaced the center with 2" x 2" square tubing, then a custom front mount, made all the difference in the world for downpipe clearance

we were running without a front mount at the time. Had to fab up a smaller one after as we had modified the cross-member to run a 3" downpipe.
