The song writing is absolutely phenomenal. "Children wake up, hold your mistakes up before they turn the summer into dust". John covered this for a reason. The song is deep and gives people the power to change. This cover makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. There is so much feeling in his voice. What a great tribute to a great song :)

It has nothing to do with covering Arcade Fire. It's to do with the lyrics and meaning of the song. It doesn't matter if he does it better or messes up completely, the meaning of the song is still true. WAKE UP son
