@whtabtbob besides I think you forget about the name of the song,which is a term coined many decades ago by AA, and the references in the lyrics reguarding 'another day' or their 'one day at a time' mantra.

@waltopher It's true AA changed it so anyone can utilize it. The ending of the prayer is hard to make out in the song but can be googled easily.

@whtabtbob ... Neinhold Niebuhr authored it and AA uses the first part of it... until in mentions Jesus as the Higher Power. You should look up the entirety of the prayer, it is much more powerful in it's entirety.
