@skinnylizzy100 A few were dragged in to court around the country, it`s all very hush hush seen reports on the net from liverpool for jan 2012, took ages to find, i understand news reporters with cameras showed up but the footage was never broadcast via main stream media.

bloody hell - the census in the uk is like the irs (taxes) in america! in america congress is required by the constitution to take a census every ten years - citizens aren't required and certainly not subject to prosecution for non-compliance with the census.

@Alwench I don't think they actually did any visits on census night. Don't fret about 'the cowards way out'. It's still a form of resistance and better than just giving in..

@skinnylizzy100 The agents never came round on census night. It wasn't until a night or two after that they came collecting and there were a few people at our house at the time. Somehow I was invisible to them and they never even spoke to me. A cowards way out maybe, but at least I remain one of the uncounted :-)
