Yeh U are right! what U expect from a F..ed up nation which it's good leaders/wise men being killed throughout history from 200 BC by Alexander to 600 AC by Arabs, then by Mongols/Turks, then by Brits/Russians/US! Remember we had democracy (Mossadegh/60 yrs ago) but US/Brits destroyed it by criminal coup! US also inflamed fanatics in the area, trained/supported Taleban/Alqaeda, started this mess, put Saddam in power,inflamed Iran/Iraq war,gave him bio./Chemical weapons assaulted Iranians/Kurds!

tarafGallo, thank you for the reminders in history, of which I am very well aware of. This does not take away from "The Chain murders" in the 80s. Thousands of political prisoners murdered by the regime, including teenage girls and pregnent women. You are right but even the current regime killes the same people. What happedened to Dariush Foruhar and his wife? How many Iranian wise men were killed by the regime in the name of a disease called islam. What happened to Amir Kabir?
