I agree with that. A lot of people can pass well and get on with their lives and can stop caring about trans issues. It's sad how even transgendered people can lack empathy for others in the same situation they used to be. It's like a poor person that makes it big so decides to become an Objectivist or something.

I completely agree with u about people once their not in need of the support from others to strengthen them mentally for their transition, they wash their hands of the negative aspects of being transgender. U're proof that not everyone will do this, but not everyone has your support or resources to substain an ongoing opposition with the prejudices people have for our community. So try if u will to understand them. Switching gears, I don't know who Morgan is but she is very sexy, be sweet, Mya.

Sorry Erin, I kinda disagree! I transitioned in Y2K and have been stealth ever since. That wasn't a deliberate tactic but transition was easy(ish!), I passed kinda effortlessly and simply lived my life as the girl I am. And the longer I'd transitioned then the less trans became a relevant part of who I am. I didn't transition to make a statement on gender politics or be a trailblazer for others - but simply to be comfortable as the woman I am....and I don't think there's anything wrong in that!

no need to be sorry, everyone has their own opinions and that is good. mostly this was specifically geared at people who put down other people for being openly trans. I have come across a few people like that who get really rude towards me and say im not a real woman because i talk about being trans... mostly that is what this was about.
