spinner was such an asshole back then he made homophobic jokes to Marco in the 3rd season episodes Pride and Against All Odds, he stole jimmy's iPod in the second season episode fight for your right, and when rick put terri in a coma the bullying got worse (Paige and emma was the one that told the school to make Rick's life a living hell) to the point where rick snapped, after the school shooting episode Spinner found god and became a changed man
