So what is the status so far? Have homes or a home been found for them ?I really hope so It breaks my heart. I live in canada so cant take them but ill definitly offer monetary donations if required...who is incharge of them right now etc??..thanks

The vet that rescued them is in charge of them right now...Cussypat1974 has offered to take the cat so we will see all the paperwork that is needed and the vet will examine the case.Let s hope everything is gonna be right and at least Louis will have his home!!!!

Maria,we have a program here stateside for those that cannot afford wheel carts for handicapped pets,I'll get the info for ye!

We have already found wheel carts.One lady fron Greece will sent one for Thelma and one lady from UK will sent for Louis!

these two babies have been seen by a vet and more information will be available. they do not need to be euthanized...they need wheels

most of the comments here are from a year ago, so at this point i'm assuming both Thelma and Louis are doing well now, though i jus found out about them.

however, i have known for sometime now about the plight of poor animals in greece, especially strays. it's very sad and very tragic not only for the animals but for the cold-hearted greek people who choose to abandon, ignore or even abuse these poor animals. how can anyone see these animals and not immediately want to help? i can't understand.

Aww.. I do wish I could take them both!!That's great that someone has donated wheels for them both.

Also, will whoever adopts these animals be monitored as to make sure that the home they go to will be safe for them? Will they take into account other animals the adopter has in the house that could be dangerous to them?

many animals go on living with a handicap. just like humans do. to say that his life should end when he is still so loving and enjoying life is what is cruel! they need love and hope and a caring person to offer them a home.

I have offered to take the cat! (Which is the cat?) The more I watch the video the more I want her/him (probably a him as ginger? not that it matters). Others have offered too I think. I can't take the dog as my other dog is a bully..... she would bully the dog but loves cats. I hope I get the cat but I hope even more that they both go to great, loving, forever homes. It's ridiculous to think these animals should be killed - they are obviously happy and well able to enjoy life!!!

Sent the cart for Louis today-may take a week or two to get there as there has been a postal strike here in UK. xx
