When doing tours of Greenwich Village, I try to drop off here, at the end. Here is a recent review of my work: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g60763-i5-k2810106-l18169839-Trip_report...

Rocco's has been around since i was a kid. Great pastry selection, centering on Italian pastries such as Napolitanos, cannoli, etc. But they also have fruit cups and torti... Well, you cn see the display case in the video and judge for yourself.
My favorite is having coffee and cakes in the little closed-in garden, where the video starts. Nice and quiet back there. You get the sense of outdoorsiness, yet it's roofed with translucent corrugated Fiberglass.

  • Rocco's is the best.. much better then the over priced over hyped Ferrara's in the fake little italy that NY has..

  • I love Rocco's!!!..i'm goin there this Friday!haha,haven't been there in like...3 weeks,foods great!

also my other favorite bakery/pastry place is "THE VILLABATE Alba" in Bensonhurst,Brooklyn, whats great about them is that their cannoli creams are Imported from Palermo,SICILY!!

U got to go there as well man!!
