My grandpa used that one, he said he shot it in single shot because it would heat up, he also said the guys with the m1s would stay close to him haha

Other way around - the original WWI M1918 only had fast (600rpm) or semi-auto. On the M1918A2 (WWII version) the selector was changed to select between 300 or 600 rounds/minute.

@crzymn246 They werent a fan. haha. It was heavy, big, earlier varients had a slower cyclic rate and they all had the small magazines. My grandfather was a BARman throughout Korea.

That gun weighs a ton. I'm not physically strong enough to lift and fire that. At least not without a bipod. Good thing is that its weight helps absorb some of the recoil, though.
Think of the poor (though well-armed) troopers that had to hump that heavy thing across Europe during WWII....

LOOK AT ME, THE BIG INTERNET TOUGH GUY
@Bulldawg238 its a Kg m/37 the swedish variant of the BAR made by FN. look it up, it shoots 7.92x57 not 30-06. look closely at the gun and you can tell its not a m1918. I dont care what round is more powerful. do some research before you call me out.
