Michael Savage TV Show on Dissent & US Troops

Once upon a time conservative Radio Talk Show Host Michael Savage used to have a political commentary TV Show on of all places MSNBC. This was during the beginning of the Iraq War.

I'm not putting this up because I agree with everything Dr. Savage says. He may say controversial things but boy he sure has great Sarcasm. He's like the Great Grandfather I never had who yells and screams at the TV in an angry way in so much it's funny.

In this episode Savage talks about the Presidential Candidates back then free speech versus dissention. Also about U.S. Troops getting tricked into getting killed by Iraqi Insurgents.

Don't send me hate mail for what he says. I will only delete death threats and spam comments.

Go back to your communist professor who knows nothing of history or does know and purposely twists and misleads (or has been mislead) the basic economic principles of free market laissez faire capitalism, and the basic history of American economics. The Unemployment rate by June of 1930 was at 6.7% which came down from a 9% high earlier since the crash. Once the GOV intervened with the Smoot Hawley Tarrif and no FED RES spending, the economy went into 10 year depression. READ

(the FED is far from laissez faire capitalism, but what the establishment of the FED will do is make investors and banks feel that they have a safety blanket of government and will be bailed out, like what happened under bush, who is a fiscal socialist by the way IMO, not a laissez faire at all. But under Hoover, the FED did nothing of the sort, they dont do Bushenomics which is to pump money into the banks so that a run does not proceed. They did the opposite, and let deflation happen by 1/3.

Okay, you are giving me many assertions, they are statements that are made but they are far from correct.

And your assertion about the FED as being a free market capitalist idea is the furthest thing from the truth.  It is government intervention, established under Democrat Woodrow Wilson, whom also established the Federal Income Tax. Far from laissez faire capitalism. Very Far. Laissez faire means to let do, or to leave alone. The FED being involved is far from that proceed

@OffTheGlass87 The Great Depression was a failure of unregulated Wild West laissez faire capitalism.Hoover was a great prponent of this idea and it was his economic policies as President that helped lead to the Great Depression.The Fed has been headed by capitalists and is run for the bemefit of large industrial capitalism since its creation.

Whoa, presidents arent god you know. There are other branches as well. Anyway, the Smoot Hawley tarrif that imposed tarrifs on goods to stimulate job growth in the US resulted in 50% less imports and exports in the US. That was also under him. Not a pro free market move at all. So please, just because says conservative doesnt mean they are. Judge by actions, not words.

But you must agree on why the FED was created. It allowed DEFLATION of 1/3 of money supply. FED did it.

@cwood4ever Yeah I can't wait for conservatives to take over the government again and start really cutting the budget,thus making our economic problems even worse.I can't wait for conservatives to have the Presidency again so they can cut taxes on the wealthy even more,so we can enjoy the benefits of a policy that has already failed to do anything for us.I can't wait for the Dumbsy Twins Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman to given real power so they can really screw things up!
