Zod wouldn't even have to say it to Obama, he wouldn't even get the word "kneel" out before ole Barry would have his face planted on his boots.

Zod was pathetic.

He went on an ego trip because his body chemistry just so happened to react to a yellow sun in way that blessed him with special powers that he didn't even know about a few hours before that.

Superman atleast had the character to do something constructive and virtuous with that power,

And that is what I like about Zod. Zod is what Superman could be if he wanted to. Superman has enough power to take over the world. Instead he uses it to inspire the best in us. Zod is the alternative and use the power to try to rule. Zod here is sort of a two dimensional mustache twirling villain, but it's all good. But I have to say Zod in Smallville is written with much more depth.
