GCN Nostalgia - Mario Power Tennis: Bowser Castle Court

Here's the next stop on the Mario Power Tennis tour. The lava burns, the walls are intimidating and danger's all around. The personal court belonging to the King of Koopas, the Bowser Castle Court.

Flying/floating characters are difficult to use...

Court: Bowser Castle Court
(Ball Speed: Fast - Bounce: Strong)
Match Tyype: Gimmick Court; 2-game, 3-set
Gimmick: The court is constantly tilting back and forth making where the ball lands unpredictable.

Character: Paratroopa (Technique)
Offensive Power Shot: Paratroopa gets behind the ball and spins into it lobbing it back toward the opponent's side in a bright, lavender glow. The side effect of hitting the ball results in temporary dizziness.
Defensive Power Shot: Paratroopa takes to the sky in an explosion of feathers and then divebombs into the ball sending it back to the opponent's side.

CPU: Bowser (Power)
Offensive Power Shot: Bowser breathes fire onto the ball and launches it back to the other side in a fiery blaze. The side effect of hitting the ball results in severe knockback.
Defensive Power Shot: Bowser winds up and withdraws into his shell and spins to where the ball is hitting it back.

It might be just me but getting 'Out' isnt very common except in the Gooper Blooper stage. I wish there was a proper sequel to this game on the Wii that has Wi-fi rather than an update of this game with Wii controls. Shy Guy and Fly Guy are my personal favourites in this game.

Same here. It's kind of a cop-out.

And yeah, since the field tilts which shifts the boundries of play, and since I like using Technique characters and hitting the ball close to the line, I got Outs a lot more here.

This court has a lot of references to older games but one of the most unknown is that when the gate opens, Bowser's castle in the background is the same from Super Mario RPG.

I would ALWAYS choose this court since when someone is close to gamepoint it plays epic music
