  • Lol, awesome video. I liked the way he even referred to it as "the wonder computer of the 1980s", like he knows computers in the 90's are going to be way more badass, but for now your stuck with this.

  • This version has great quality compared to some of the others on youtube. Thanks for posting it!

  • i bet this computer could do at least warp 5

  • @tempchan4comments2 Correction I meant I still have my Commodore64 lol, this is the Vic 20 version ^_^

  • I still have mine :D still works, and the Atari 2600, those were the days 1980's simple life, simple times, simple computing. Not that I don't like today's times to. Just miss the 1980's somewhat, having fun with my brothers on the atari 2600, or playing gun ship on the C64, 1541 disc drive :)

  • $ 300. 00 was a lot of money back then , even today thats alot of money for a game system.

  • @derSpuk one of the first german words i learned during my summer vacations... :-)

  • @MassimoPiai

    lol. but you have to explain what "fick" means. (-;

  • @uncinarynin 'cause it pronounced as "fick" maybe?

  • Fun that it was actually pronounced "Vic" in english speaking countries. In Germany it was marketed as VC-20 (vau-ce zwanzig) and explained as "Volkscomputer" ....

  • @00101011001 That's how I felt. I didn't feel like we were getting anywhere till about the time the Mac, the Amiga, and the Atari 520ST came out. They were pretty close to what I thought of as "real" computers, but there was still something missing. It wasn't till I bought my first 486 that I thought, "Yeah, THIS is what I expected as a 'computer' when I was a kid in the 70s!"
