  • My dad is getting ready to start grinding a new batch of corn meal using my grandmothers single piston putt putt engine and gris mill. I have asked him to allow me to file the entire process and I will post the video here for everyone to enjoy!!

  • My Father is getting ready to install the generator and the transfer switch that will switch it over to the generator instead of the power company. The last image on webpage should be the generator mounted.

I will update the web page and the youtube videos as he adds more to it. He is looking for the best priced transfer switch and once he installs it then he will disconnect from the grid.

  • tried the web address u give here it doesn`t work,am looking foward to seeing more, any clues as to why ur web page can`t be accessed thnx

  • I am in the middle of a move from Atlanta GA to Crossville TN.

I will be getting the server up within the next couple of weeks!!

Monday my Dad is connecting the generator to the gasifier and I will be filming more and uploading the videos as soon as I get them available....

  • Webpage is up again.

  • fema's make tar. period. cool that it runs the engine how many rpm can it make? running the engine without load doesn't mean much. takes about 2hp per kw. you won't make as much running on wood.... just saying from experience. yes i've had fema units run and tar up an engine. there are much better designs.

  • Your link to additional information doesn't seem to be working.

  • It's a nice looking contraption but, all are stuck on batch feeding. Someone needs to think outside the box. Continual flow is only possible way they will ever be viable on a commercial or large scale. Just a Suggestion.

  • I think more organic feed stock would raise the BTU content of the Syngas. Sewer sludge after a treatment plant would be ideal. Batch feeding is kind of a serious hender. I would use a hydraulic ram and piston to create a material pug in a tapered inlet on a continuous stroke basis replacing the material plug every stroke with new. Would even rotate the retort if that's what it is. In a steel oven on casters with fins to tumble the material through. Continual flow of shredded MSW ideal. Good Luk

  • I checked the web site and its down, can explain the process in words,

what happpens to the shaveings to what happens to produce a fuel?

  • your making Ammonia NH3 gas

  • what type of engine is that

  • @madfighter56 A 2 stroke engine won't work for this type of application because there is no liquid fuel with which to mix the oil. The engine would run for a minute or two and seize due to lack of lubrication.

  • ever thought of using a thermo pile to help add to the power generated >

  • Any videos of this thing running the generator under load? How much load can you get the generator to power?
