My laptop screen keeps going so dark it looks like it's not on. If you squint REALLY hard you can still see the desktop items on the screen. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
If I close the laptop and open it the screen starts out red or green, gets progressively brighter and then shuts off again in a few seconds.
Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it? thanks. It's a Gateway 7508GX, 1GB RAM, 70 or 80GB HD, ATI 64MB Radeon x600 graphics card, AMD CPU,
