You should give Rob one of your guitars, or maybe spend more time practicing, or maybe just evolving. Then you could give the gift of inspired, thoughtful lessons, like Rob, as opposed to posts that brag about guitars that are suspiciously silent. On second thought, maybe take a lesson from the silence of your guitars.

Rob you are so on as far as not using TAB and teaching kids how to use their EARS! The first lesson besides tuning AFTER I intonate their guitars and show them how and why that is important, i have them pick their most favorite song and teach that first. Doing this fuels ALL other song to be played. Once they get that, i demo how to tune to records and then have them break songs down from their favorite genre...Then they give me a lesson on what they learned and we discuss ALL techniques used

Dear God, is there no instrument this guy hasn't perfected? I'm practically ready to burn my Telly! Nice work RB

great....yeah, I guess the sound could be better, even your voice is a bit difficult to understand at times.
however, unlike some demo vids, yours actually teach the stuff. Appreciated.

Sorry, should have said my previous message was addressed to "thedeemON"
More fun even than the hot rod lincoln lick. But without tabs I had to replay the vid about 50 times. well worth it and I just wish I could reproduce more than the last part.
If you have full video lessons along those lines of rock or country I would consider buying them. I understand that you are a teacher and have to make a living.

Awesome licks, Rob, do you have any of this tabbed out?

Sorry, I don't use tab. I find my students learn better by ear. These are mostly reference videos, for my private web cam students to review with.
Cool name Scone LOL.

hahaha, Cute Telecaster...I have one of the REAL, ORIGINAL (1968 or 1969) Fender "F-Series" James Burton Pink Paisley Telecasters...& I have a White American Standard Telecaster too...I'm unsure of the year it was made, but it's newer...my guess is between 1998 & 2004....& I have a 1967 Gibson Flying V (Re-Issue), a Mid-1990's Jackson Randy Rhoads RR3 Flying V (even though Jackson should've called the Randy Rhoads Flying V's a "Flying Lower-Case j" or a "Flying Check-Mark"....) & more Axes too
