Malaysia Airlines 747 Hibiscus take off Schiphol Amsterdam (EHAM)

Take off from runway 24 AKA 'Kaagbaan'.
This Malaysia Airlines 747-400 was one of the best livery's around. MAS did a wonderful job with the Hibiscus! Too bad it's gone nowadays, but I was very fortunate to board this aircraft for the non stop 12,5 hr flight to Kuala Lumpur. Flight MH-17 / AMS-KUL / 9M-MPB / seat 56K

of all my times with deeling with planes the hibiscus livery of malaysia airlines has always and always will be my favourite plane :) ur very lucky to have the oppertunity to fly on board it

For sure it was one of my absolute favourite livery's too! I've been several times to Schiphol airport just to shoot some pics and admire the beauty of it.

So when I arrived for a flight to KUL and finding the Hibiscus at my gate .... wow, I just couldn't believe my eyes, lucky me!

I also think that is was a tremendous good looking aircraft! ! But that's mostly the case with special livery's, you have to enjoy them while they are flying around ;)

no offense, but i think there's more airline deserve the 5 star ratings instead of MH. I think TG or EK deserve that label. MH still gives lousy service on their regional sector. Even they still utilize their obsolete A333 for several sector to China and Seoul. I could say GA's so much better in service than MH. they need a big shake-up. Just sharing my thoughts :)
