This video and song seem reminiscent of Aphex Twin's "Windowlicker". Is this a new archetype / subgenre? It also reminds me of Tricky's "Christian in Christiansands". The question is, how does Keenan find so much posturing necessary? Is it just a desire to be the undercurrent of "bling"? Is it vaudeville, poking a little fun at himself, or is it some very deep spooky numerological thing? Is it an "in your face" attitude? I don't get it.
