do you have to go to school for this?? im from Mexico and got inspired into car designs sense the new car Manstretta looks butt ugly and have some ideas of some designs but dont know where to start...

You have to look at this at another view... this software costs ALOT of money and I don't think students could afford it. So if someone would download it illegally and practice to become good then this might help him in his career, maybe he will have to use it the whole time for his job and probably purchases it ;) Whereas when there was no illegal download then I don't think there would have been alot of tutorials on the internet and not as much discussions about it.

this is not how you sketch a car. i think he's set a picture of a car on his wacom and is tracing the outline.

Your opinion is your opinion. At least I get paid for it. And no, there is no underlay. If you had practiced what you preach, you should know that and you would have noticed it.

Simple: If this is not how YOU sketch a car, feel free to demonstrate how a REAL designer does it, since you did not see there was no underlay or anything else on there. I would be interested.
