THEN THE MULTITUDE were stirred up against them, and there was an assault of the Jews and of the Gentiles; they were full of anger, and cried out against them. (Acts 14:2,5)

THIS IS JEHOVAH'S TEMPLE. Ye children of Israel, help us! This is the man who teacheth all men against our holy law. We have heard him speak against the law, against the people, and also these our holy places. Stone him to death. (Acts 21:28)

AND THEY ALL PERSECUTED PAUL on his way; but the Lord stood with him, and strengthened him, that by him the word might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear. (2 Tim 4:17)
