@ikmijzelf how would you do this with maths? im very curious, please xplain

Yes, but it isn't in production. Make Noise has a new product coming out in order to replace it.

i need this lopass gate thing... is it MAKENOISE?
-
Fantastic !! Play whit drum sticks !! How Much one trigger ?

@strictpolicy QMMG is a Lo-Pass Gate, it processes simultaneously in the amplitude and frequency domains.
As the control signal & control offset Levels become more positive,
the Amplitude of the processed signal increases AND the high frequency content
of the signal is revealed. A fast envelope or pulse patched to CV IN will provide beautiful acoustic like attack & decay transients. The sound source will seem to RING & Resonate, not unlike a drum or plucked string.

@AnalogCustomSynth VCO that is sound source should have Frequency Modulation so that the sound source is very complex where applied to the LPG.

@MAKEN0ISE i dont understand what the multimode gate is for, could you explain please

@MAKEN0ISE Thanks for your response. I am manufacturer of synthesizers and long ago I made a custom module. The current owner can not make the sound "Buchla bongo". I included in that module a "Low Pass Gate Quad" clone (with VTL5C3 / 2 Vactrols) and a "Buchla 258 Dual Oscillator" clone. The owner also has a Serge module with a "Quad Universal Slope Generator". What could be the problem? Thanks!
Will it sound as good using the Optomix?

@SYN7HOR absolutely. This video uses the BOTH mode on the QMMG, and that circuit is same in the Optomix.
