@4svennie Hope this answer does not come along to late for you. The Royal 22nd Regiment of the Canadian Army has a long tradition. Based in Quebec it maintains the best traditions of the Canadian Army and utilises the more recent accomodations of the French Language in its drill and shouted commands. If you check out You Tube there is even an old clip of the Royal 22nd Rgmt. in wartime London taking over guard duties at Buckingham Palace.

C'est bizarre, leur pas ne fait pas très britannique, ni français d'ailleurs, ça me rappelle un peu l'armée belge(cela dit ce n'est pas une critique, j'ai habité près du palais royal en Belgique).
