Peter Schweizer, author of 'Throw Them All Out,' was featured on 60 Minutes last week for his investigative work on congressional insider training.
YAF's Ron Meyer sat down with him to talk about the book and to ask Schweizer about Nancy Pelosi's latest charges.
Ninety days reporting must be a joke in the act. The reporting of securities transactions should reveal to the public, hidden information that is happening now. Not some historical record of events gone past. Disclosure of confidential legislative information should be at least as timely, as confidential corporate information. An article in the Wall Street Journal suggested $5,000.00 reported in five days. Brian Baird who originated the Stock Act said, “Really it should be 48 hours.”

Does anyone really think Congress will police themselves?

Since Congress is Stealing $millions from our 401K's by insider trading then why does Congress need $170,000/year more of our Tax Dollars. Most a Congressman's time is spent making money for themselves, only 1-2 days /week they are actually in session selling out us taxpayers to corporate lobby's. If Congress doesn't work for the PEOPLE anymore then we don't need no Stinking Congress. Bet no Congressman lost money with MADDOFF cause they knew he was running a scam on small Americans.
