Hey man, I want to know your thoughts of the new shot control system for NBA ELITE 11. Im actually excited about it because it covers an aspect that no basketball game has covered and thats realistic shooting. I just get tired of having to adjust the sliders on these games and wished these guys would finally get it right and realistic.
....for you, "It's supposed to be fun, you take the fun out the game walking it down the court and trying to make it too real" Screw you!! Take yo ass back to 2K whatever cause Live has always been the realist most authentic version of NBA basketball out. I'll compliment your 2K on it's dunks but that's where the buck stops it's still too easy to score and drive to the hole without contact.
Oh and for the many of you homeboy is referring to that have no patience I have to relate b/c I start out playing Superstar at 12 minutes so if you don't have the stamina to be on the sticks 1 -2 hours a game you can't play in my Dynasty....for you, "It's supposed to be fun, you take the fun out the game walking it down the court and trying to make it too real" Screw you!! Take yo ass back to 2K whatever cause Live has always been the realist most authentic version of NBA basketball out. .
and this happens at just about the same time the next Live comes around. That's how "They" plan it to keep us buying....at least that's how they usually get me! I can understand changing your settings to your comfort zone while playing individually but not when online playing against Joe Blow, even the playing field.
If you're like me my ego won't let me lose so I often hit restart or quit game when I'm down too much in the forth to come back (exhibition games only....if it's the season I just gotta take an "L") but playing it on it's hardest level will bring you from getting blown out by the "A.I." in the first 10 minutes of a game to gettting blown out come forth quarter and eventually you'll start blowing out the "A.I." in the first quarter (revenge is a sweet dish served cold)
You learn to become so good that you've actually managed to dictate when your player is most likely going to miss a wide open lay-up so you can counter the system with a different combination of buttons to where it no longer affects your game and doesn't happen period.
This in return makes you a greater player because the game comes difficult already in default settings on the hardest level (i.e. Superstar or All Madden) I mean 50/50 each setting is pretty much a toss up each game if you ask me. To me, that means that if you're good enough at what you know about the game then you should have no problem beating the Boston Celtics or the Los Angeles Lakers with a team like the New Orleans Hornets or the Portland Trailblazers (or any other partly sub-par team).
The roster update is a great feature b/c I got tired of hearing about trades and drops and having to remember all day to make the trade/change in a roster when I got home from school. But to keep things level you play strangers or new comers on your system on the default to make it fair to both parties. Now if your a true hooper like myself you learn off jump, to open the package, slide the game in, and put it on it's hardest level and train yourself off that level.
I'm an old school Live owner (and Bulls vs. Blazers, Lakers vs. Celtics, Double Dribble etc. no need for me to show my age/immaturity anymore lol), never crossed over to the 2K whatever no matter how wack people said Live was. Flat out!! The unwritten rule to Live and Madden (just like the unwritten "Guy Code") is that you play others in a "as is" default mode. Meaning you open the game up and begin playing it as is.
i dig the commentaries and how prime delt with the differance in gaming
