Abused kittens recovering

Nine-week-old kittens Oliver and Twist are recuperating in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, after having their hind left legs amputated. The surgery followed the kittens having their paws cut off - believed to be by children using a knife or scissors. Bless you for saving them. How could any human do this? It is so cruel. I have been saving animals all my life. POOR LIITLE INNOCENT CREATURES!

I adopted two kittens 4 months ago who were beaten by a farmer... when i pet and hold them I don't know how people can hurt animals as innocent as kittens

It is outright DISGUSTING what some people do to helpless innocent creatures like this! I'm absolutely APPALLED whenever i hear of such stories like this....bless your heart for rescuing them! I myself just adopted 2 kitties a few months ago who were left abandoned by their previous "owners"....

I'll never understand why anyone could do such a horrible thing to those beautiful little creatures. Only monsters can.
