One of the best scene that i have seen in a dramatic movie!!!! Robin Williams is fantastic in this film and the purpose and meaning behind it is a foundation, a mind set that I believe in with all my heart. Its a reminder to do an ordinary thing extraordinarily well, also to constantly look at things in a different way.
"Seize the day boys... make your lives extroardinary"

It just touches the most beautiful aspects of life, its more than a movie, it shows us a way of living, and every time I see this movie it fullfills me with dreams and hope and I try to push myself to go and enjoy do something while I can. This is a movie we all should remind every day we wake up.

One of the best movie endings ever, in my humble opinion.

I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way.

This and Goodbye Mr.Chips had to be the two most memorable movies for me.

Then you ignore the Greek linguistic roots of latin language.I can say a lot of examples if you want. All roman authors wrote that latin culture and language come from Greek culture and language. Don't you believe them??? Why???

of course i read books. anyway both ancient greek and latin where first spoken around the 9th-8th century BC if you dont keep in account Mycenean greek, so the two languages coexisted, with the expansion of hellenistic culture in the 4th century and colonization of south italy(*magna grecia) its obvious that greek language had major influences in roman literature as it did on pretty much everywhere else.

so Greek influenced Latin? yes no doubt

did Latin derive from Greek? no
