@cautious10101 ....It's the kind of deen where people come from diverse walks of life and celebrate the fact that they eventually came to Islam when they were far, far from it and were not told about the deen by those born into it. The Salaf also didn't come on Youtube ranting but you do it! Islam does NOT work on the principle that everything is Haram except what can be proven to be Halal. The message wasn't originally spread by Youtube/Facebook but now it is! Please shut up and move on!

@ZaeemIslamSoldier You know what? I can't be bothered to make this into a big debate! Read Surah Ash-Shu'araa! (That's Surah No. 26 BTW) It condemns poets that recite poems about such things that take man away from God or prove them to be hypocrites, while at the same time commending poets that "...believe and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much..."!

Some mujahideen fight for the respect of their family name...does that mean that no mujahid fights for the sake of Allah?

@RasoolsAashiq The Qu'ran is not singing, it is reciting. You recite it in arabic. Not singing. You will find it more and more beautiful than any song or music or anything. The problem of some of muslims misusing the Quran is the consequence of ignorance and heedlessness towards Qur'an. Heedlessness of the Qu'ran and just doing poems is terrible. Allah has revealed the Qu'ran for us to READ. Not to leave it and go onto singing astaghfirullah. Singers mostly sing for fame. Are u?

@RasoolsAashiq Praising Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is different from rapping. We have to follow Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) he is our ideal, not the rappers, not eminem, not 50 cent, not singers. Allah perfected our religion for us, there is no change in it. That goes for singing and rapping.

While gangsters drop bars about guns & hoes there are others that drop bars about the difficulties of life & the struggles on their path to enlightenment!

Poetry was used in the time of RasoolAllah to mock him and yet Sy. Hassan ibn Thabit, RA, was called upon to recite poetry praising the stature of RasoolAllah! Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallim!

Mashallah, this is great. I love all of the diverse accents. alhamdillah...Nasheeds were sung during the Prophet's (SAW) time. The beauty of islam is the diversity, we're all of different colors and cultures. We dont need to arabize ourselves to be muslim.
