I have known people who actually believe that women have one more rib than men do, since God supposedly took a rib from Adam to make Eve. I tell them that if a man has a leg amputated and then later has a kid, the kid will have two legs -- it's not genetic. But they insist that IT'S IN MEDICAL BOOKS! that men have one fewer rib. So you can see why they'd think women are just an extra thing made for the convenience of males.
