  • I think it's a shame it wasn't Julie Andrews in the movie. I think she would have done much better than Audrey Hepburn.

  • @Poppins91

seriously?? this is one of those movies that needs to remain a classic, left alone, and not remade for an audiance of people who likely wont' have heard of it until now, and won't appreciate it at all. ಠ_ಠ wasn't Pretty Woman enough of a remake? Bah.

  • @feuip Yea well...they wanted a big name to lead the movie and at the time Julie Andrews was not that well-known so they went with Audrey Hepburn. But on the bright side, by not doing My Fair Lady, Julie Andrews was able to do Mary Poppins. So thats a plus haha :)

  • I have respect for both the movie and the play, obviously I never got the chance to see the play but I have a tremendous respect for Julie and Audrey is equally beautiful. They both interpreted it in their own way in their own right. They've made peace about it between them and so there's really no point in arguing.

No Audrey didn't do the singing for the movie however Marni's voice is very similer to Julie's in style. I Love them both, it's a wonderful role :)

  • :D Julie andrews :)

  • @feuip yeah at least she would have sang the songs of the movie xD

  • Feliz cumpleaños a la mejor interprete de My Fair Lady .....Miss Julie Andrews

  • I do not understand why did play Eliza's caracter by Audrey Hepburn.

I think they (producers and directors) have stolen this film and the global success from Julie. She would has deserved it.

  • @DianeMaria100 - Julie Andrews was in the stageplay and she did her own singing!!! This video is Julie Andrews singing. The film version is Audrey Hepburn and she did not do her own singing!

  • @abejamayatree In the film it's not Julie Andrews' voice, it's Marni Nixon.

  • @RichardElden I can't believe you are here too! How can you sleep at night saying things like this about such a beautiful, elegant and lighthearted person?

  • @RichardElden

You honestly did not like it? Well I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. See ya!
