Eloquently articulated and expressed, Africa does need a 24hr AfricanTV News network to rival the likes of CNN and Aljureze, and also to reverberate Africa's Pressing Needs, Problems and News from an Afrcian perspective. Good Job and Well Done Ayo

Iisn't there any African in the private sector or even company rich enough to sponsor it, think about the revenue they will still recieve in advertisement. There must be an investor of African descent who could sponsor this mamoth task, maybe we can talk to the old colonel himself if he could do it that will be his legacy in retirement.

We have to continue to take advantage of a global media to tell our own stories.
Obama won because he ttok advantage of other media outlets.
With the internet, Africa can tell it's own story.
Ayo and Co, keep speaking up and speaking out.

We do need our own, and for now we can use the internet until they find a way to corrupt that.

I believe it is call Africom, but it is a kkkon alright.
A program to bring the united snakkkes military into Africa to have bases there.
With the latest so called piracy issue , the US is trying to find justification to slide in military presence.
Obama is willingly being used as a puppet with a kkkraka's hand up his butt to make it look like it is all about "help and aid", but it is nothing but death and destruction .

True, neo-colonialism is alive in many Places in Africa.

listensunday I respect your solution to Africa's problems. However Africas problems lie heavily on UNFAIR TRADE TARIFFS dumped on AFRICA by International foreign policy that sees it fit & MORAL to EXPLOIT AFRICAS raw mineral wealth, diamonds, gold, oil & brain drain & then turn around & donate DEAD AID & LOANS with strings attached, & 200% interest charges that disempowers Africa's governance. After that happens, who gets blamed? Africa's leaders who detest being told how to run own affairs

The solutions to problems in Africa lie on our ability to spend more public funds on raising the standard of living of the masses. The rest of the world may point fingers at us and even call us by names and treat us the way they want, the day we unite, lay aside selfish interests and make genuine love for other Africans the motive behind our governance, that's when the rest of the world will stop taking us 4 something else.

I agree with you 100%. But you know very well that Westerners don't have to get their hands dirty, they've got their local imbeciles. We need to get rid of those imbeciles.

I agree with u Donciba. Its about time Africa should rise to occassion. Africa has its own wealth, but now we hear there is an organization that has been formed called Afri-Kon, to take care of mineral wealth in Africa. I hear its headed by people who are NOT from AFRICA, who do not even live in Africa, & who do not care even one bit about the EXISTENCE of Africa. I heard about this organization over the radio channel run by some concerned US Blacks, a week ago. I was NOT aware of AFRI-KON
Thanks for asking -- Part 1
We need self-control, determination, courage and above all Act on Gaddafis recently called as head of AU for a United States of Africa to include the Caribbean.
All African countries can make a contribution to such a TV station based on % of GDP growth this way courtiers that earn more and are better off can pay more, those that dont earn as much will pay less

Part 2
Synergy effect (2+2 = 5) is what we are looking for!!
Then with the money in place an independent network can be born with clear focus and vision to compete with the BBC and CNN of this world
Failing the effort highlighted above a RICH private investor is what can make this a reality.
