The homework was never actually shown to the class as the teacher never checked it (all that work for nothing!), so with nothing else to do with it, we decided to youtube it. It has two acoustic guitars (one played with a slide) and a G diatonic harmonica. I used open d tuning on both guitars. The lyrics are meant to be scientifically accurate, though I may have made some factual errors:
mitosis is a process,
in every animal cell,
aka cell division,
it helps keep us well oooh,
without cell mitosis!
i would surely lay down and die.
in all living animals from the goat to the fly!
it begins in the nucleus in the stage interphase
the chromosomes duplcate,
but connected they stay tied at the centromere conjoined they remain while,
through diffusion
all over the nucleus they stray
the nucleus breaks down as the chromosome condense
into microtubular structures and the centrioles commence
to pull them to the centre
the pairs split up as anaphase start and
get dragged to each end two copies
now far apart two sets of chromosomes
the same like twins
the cytoplasm divides and another cell begins
understanding this is key to pass your biology gcse
