Momma (Julia Wesley) sang harmony as a girl (her mother my grandmother sings many part gospel harmony with her sisters....I last heard grandma sing with my great aunts at the age of 84!!!! it was beautiful ....Kristi Starr is a singer/songwriter performing musician from South Carolina.....you can find more of her music and original songs on myspace....worth a listen....she writes some of the best songs I've ever heard.....

@ThonColinFilms oh..it's my fault...it was unrehearsed...we'd never sang altogether before..and we've never it since..sadly...since we live in different states...this was done one night over Christmas we thought we'd sit down and sing together...Momma grabbed her part but I was not used to sing harmony at all back then....Kiki and my girls and I recently recorded the weight....you might like that too...:)

Nice standard tuning adaptation, however it doesn't have the "ring" of the open tuning, (CGCGCE)which like most open tunings has really simple chords.

Great job though, nice rhythm.

Nice playing, was your guitar in standard tuning? What tuning was it in? I need to play this song for my band teacher if I wanna be able to play guitar in the band.

These things are ALWAYS a work in progress, and I mean the whole exploration of musicianship as well.  The first tentative harmonies become more confident and more solid, and you find yourself getting to places that you never dreamed you could go. The fact that you have a feel for harmony is the most important part.
