Godhead has one heck of a songwriter and singer in Jason Miller. I suppose we should be glad that this band has flown relatively under the radar for so long, considering how beautiful most of Godhead's work is.

@YourOwnEnvy ahhh, haha!! I hate today from 2000, like I said, that album is SICK! Mine are The Reckoning and I Sell Society. I like to think The Shadow Line and 2000 was basically done back to back or something (obviously not true) cuz they seem to share the same style. Best 2 albums ever. but let's not forget Power Tool Stigmata and Nothingness that were pretty awesome even if it was their earlier and more tame work.

@shad0wMata Can't go wrong with F*cked Up or any other early track. It's just nice that bands like Godhead persevere and keep making music, regardless of fame, recognition, money or anything like that.

I love Godhead, it's just material beyond description. But I was a little disappointed with The Edge of the World. It just didn't have that kick That Miller always gives in their songs. Im a huge fan of all their earlier stuff, though. Shadow Line and 2000 years of Human Error are the top 2.

@shad0wMata Puppet and that Sky song were breathtaking, but the rest of the album wasn't up to par with those two. Still absolutely worth listening to as a whole though. If I had to pick one Godhead song, it'd be I Hate Today.

@wolf1010 They are a very talented band, and Jason Miller is a heck of a songwriter and singer. I got into them just by trying out some of their stuff on Rhapsody (I think). Guess it goes to show that you'll never know unless you try. :)
