  • What the hell has that got to do with it? I'm definitely a lifelong trek fan. But at 47, I don't think the term "fanboy" really applies.

  • @Robert08010 Fanboy. What, are you gay?

  • Did Steve Lawrence and Shatner order their hair from the same company?

  • OK, no one in the 80's thought this was "good television"!

  • @Robert08010 I have this audio tape of him on a tv talk show veipoint on nutrition where he explains he had a doctor for a roommate and when he blew his diet and over ate he asked the docotor if he could give him something to throw up the doctor said he couldt ethicly do that but if you drink salt water it might do something but all it did was make his neck swell up

  • "Hi Daddy!" Oh man, could that be any cuter?

  • @spacepatrolman I stand corrected. He always played insaniety rather convincingly. I just thought it strange that he could be so good as Captain Kirk and then so bad in other roles - of course except for his latter rolls. Boston Legal was da bomb. What was it about a show like 3rd rock - supposedly a 1 season throw away - that allowed actors to act with a "wtf, lets just have fun arttitude"?

Here's a man who rebuilt his career based on a newfound ability to laugh at himself. "Has-been:"

  • @Robert08010 I think you missed some of the best things shatner did the twilight zone outer limits for the people judgement at nuremburg plays radio shows...

  • Wow, there's a man who has really evolved over his lifetime. I mean besides Captian Kirk, what did he ever do, pre 1995, that showed the tiniest bit of skill as an actor? Then suddenly in his severties, he developed this whole new or second career for himself... this versatility that was amazing to behold. Boston Legal is one of my favorite shows of all time. Besides star trek.
