@Jupitarius Elizabeth did all that (Though of course it's a bit far fetched to speak about an English Empire as we know it in the 16/17 century). Henry was actually obcessed with the idea of conquering France and he wasn't smart enough to understand that the time for that had passed. Henry VII on the other hand, had understood already that the future of England - or any country actually - should be the sea.

@Savallforever This actually happened. That is, Francis and Henry wrestled, Francis won (even though Henry was taller), and according to French accounts Henry didn't take it well.
